PGPD Releases Photos of Attempted Murder Suspects

Ever Barahona

Susan Hernandez

The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking for our community’s help in locating two suspects wanted for attempted murder in Temple Hills.  The suspects are identified as 18-year-old Susan Yamileth Hernandez, of the 12000 block of Jefferson Road in Fort Washington, and 23-year-old Ever Barahona, of the 9800 block of Main Street in Fairfax, Virginia.

On May 6, 2014, at about 10:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3300 block of Brinkley Road for a possible shooting.  They found two injured men, one suffering from multiple stab wounds, and the other suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.  Investigators have since learned the assault was gang-related.   They believe Hernandez and Barahona lured the victims to the location, with the intention of killing them.  The victims were taken to a local hospital.  Both have since recovered and been released from the hospital.

Investigative developments led detectives to identify Hernandez and Barahona as suspects.  They both face charges of attempted first degree murder.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect is urged to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Regional Investigation Division-Southern Region at (301) 749-5064.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), text, “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to www.pgcrimesolvers.com and submit a tip online.
