Detectives Investigate Homicide in Upper Marlboro

The Homicide Unit is investigating an overnight fatal shooting in Upper Marlboro. The victim is 22-year-old Andre Stocks of Hunterton Street in Upper Marlboro. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On July 13th, at about 12:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 12100 block of Hunterton Street for a shooting. When they arrived, officers found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and the suspect(s).
